Welcome to Glasgow Locum Group. This is a non-profit making group established to facilitate mutual support between freelance GPs in the west of Scotland. GLG has developed this website to improve communication between members and practices in the west of Scotland.
The group also aims to provide regular educational meeting as an ideal opportunity to meet with other freelance GPs and share ideas and experiences. We endeavour to answer any questions you may have at the meetings and give guidance to doctors just starting up as locums.
If you are interested in joining, either sign up on-line or email [email protected]. We aim to hold meetings on the third Thursday of the month at 7pm*. These will be online until further notice and we aim to post an online link to members a week in advance of the meeting. Please note the conditions of membership.
When you are activated on the site you will receive a password to allow you to log in. This can then be changed to one you choose. Your password will give you access to the discussion board which is the main way of checking available jobs.
*AGM in June, No meetings in July. In December a social meeting will be held if there is sufficient demand.
